Tulsa Plastics Company History
Founded in 1941, to make plastic covers for household water coolers, within a few months the small company was heavily involved in making parts for the war effort during World War II. During the subsequent years, Tulsa Plastics Company has grown into one of the top independent Full-Line Plastics Distribution-Fabrication businesses in the Southwest. As a full line distributor, we supply our customers with anything from acrylic to zytel . We are an AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR for most of the top plastics manufacturers in the United States. Among the fine companies we represent are: CYRO Industries, Sheffield Plastics (HYZOD, VIVAK), PolyHI Solidur, Ensinger Engineering Plastics, Westlake Plastics, International Paper- MICARTA, Cast Nylons, Kommerling, Polycast, A.L. Hyde and Plaskolite just to name a few.
From our garage shop fabrication roots in 1941, we have evolved over the years into a state-of-the-art plastics fabricator. We fabricate and machine parts for several Fortune 500 companies, as well as many companies in the aerospace, chemical, oil and gas, food processing, retail, convenience store and various other industries. Using our 3 axis and 5 axis CNC routers, CNC panel saws, Waterjet, diamond edge polisher, heat benders, CNC Mills, Lathes, and Thermoforming equipment we have the ability to fabricate just about anything made from plastics, composites, aluminum or steel with tolerances as close as +/- .001 inch.
